FEAR Monaro Burnout Car

Fear Monaro Burnout Car

Meet Aussie Fred Watson, great bloke, mad burnout master and owner of 'FEAR' a 1000+ horsepower Monaro burnout car that has risen steadily up the ranks of fame on the Australian competition burnout circuit.

FEAR - Video still from the 2013 appearance in Darwin
FEAR fans will know the car's history of looks from its incarnation in black before a new look of two-tone orange / black, then to a dark gunmetal gray.  Today we filmed it in its latest livery after a full makeover in white with insane painted decals and trim.  Fred's partner Tarah who is also the marketing manager for team FEAR, designed its latest look based on her own dream street car, a white GTO which incidentally doesn't exist out of the factory. Fred told me that if Tarah ever learnt to drive the beast on the burnout circuit then he might be tempted to build new burnout car for himself, till then however FEAR remains in his more than capable hands.

With a Littlefield 871 supercharger pushing through the bonnet and sporting a methanol injection hat mounted on a smallblock 410 chev (at 18psi boost) FEAR has little problems mixing it with the best in the scene and making a place for itself in Australian burnout culture legend.
